The breeder and marketer of seeds Ramiro Arnedo will attend one more year, Fruit Attraction, presenting its varieties for the new fruit and vegetable campaign. From October 8 to 10, the seed house Ramiro Arnedo will deploy its sales team to continue strengthening ties with its customers. The company's stand, 9B27, will offer ample space to hold meetings with collaborators, customers and friends of the sector. Ramiro Arnedo is very well positioned in greenhouse crops such as bell pepper, tomato, eggplant, cucumber, bean and melon and in outdoor crops, especially in industrial peppers, celery, brassicas and lettuce.

Open air bell pepper
In recent years, Ramiro Arnedo has strengthened its position in industrial peppers by developing varieties with resistance and perfectly adapted to cultivation with radiation (summer). In the catalog to be presented at Fruit Attraction, the company will present its proposals for industrial peppers, both yellow and red. These are varieties that provide uniformity in harvesting and offer resistance to different horticultural viruses such as spotted (TSWV) and mosaic virus (CMV), among others. The company is working on the adaptation of these varieties to mechanical harvesting, achieving very uniform fruit sizes with excellent handling characteristics.
Leaf crops
Ramiro Arnedo is a reference in lettuce cultivation seeds, for its diversified range of leaf crops for all dates and different production areas. In the next edition of Fruit Attraction, the company will highlight its wide range of typologies, including yellow and red batavias, iceberg, oak leaf, lollo biondo and rosso. It should be noted that Ramiro Arnedo works with all types of lettuces, covering 365 days a year with varieties that have a higher resistance index such as Bremia (Bl), Nasonovia (Nr) and Fusarium (Fol).
Greenhouse crops
Offering productive varieties with resistance to viruses and fungal diseases is one of Ramiro Arnedo's priorities. In the last season, the company has introduced its red and yellow California bell pepper varieties with resistance to powdery mildew (Lt) for different areas and planting seasons. In tomato, the novelty with resistance was Surprise F1, the loose tomato with resistance to rugose virus (IR: ToBRFV). In spring crops, the company has incorporated new yellow melon varieties with resistance to Fusarium (Fom), powdery mildew (Px) and aphid. During the days of the fair, Ramiro Arnedo will continue to present these innovations in bell pepper and tomato for greenhouse, as well as its range of cucumber, eggplant, semi-long beans and Helda varieties.
Onion
Ramiro Arnedo has a good portfolio of hybrid onions including white, yellow and purple varieties for both long and short day. In this segment, the company will highlight its long dry storage onion varieties. The material available from Ramiro Arnedo is differentiated by sowing and harvesting dates, with the guarantee of good flavor, texture and excellent preservation.
