FRUTAS MONTOSA produces 6000 tonnes of guacamole
The company will be offering its guacamole at the show, made exclusively from hand-cut and pitted avocados, while checking that the flesh is in optimum condition to ensure the quality standards established for this processed fruit.
Frutas Montosa produces 6,000 tonnes of guacamole produced in La Axarquía by Frutas Montosa. The Malaga-based company, a European benchmark specialising in avocado, mango and pre-prepared convenience food products, will reach this figure before the last four-month period of the year.
Since 2007, the year in which the original recipe began to be produced, they have not stopped. They produce more than 1 million tubs a week and have more than a dozen different recipes between guacamole sauces and fresh pulp.
But what makes Frutas Montosa's guacamole so special?
Frutas Montosa's guacamole is characterised by its freshness and flavour: it is made only with fresh avocados at their optimum point of ripeness, which gives it its characteristic real and natural flavour, making it a totally healthy product full of flavour, which is what more and more consumers are looking for. This guacamole is made exclusively with hand-cut and pitted avocados, and the pulp is checked to ensure that it is in optimum condition to ensure the quality standards established for this processed fruit.
Another of the secrets of the success of Frutas Montosa guacamole is the adaptation of the recipe according to the regions where it is consumed. It is not only sold in Spain, where we like guacamole with a stronger flavour, but it is also sold in different destinations such as England, Germany or Eastern Europe, where the tastes of consumers vary from those of Spaniards.
Frutas Montosa was a pioneer in the national sector in the use of high pressure technology (HPP). With this pressurisation treatment, micro-organisms and enzymes are inactivated, destroying 100% of pathogenic bacteria, increasing their shelf life under refrigeration and facilitating their conservation without the final product losing its nutritional, organoleptic and sensory attributes and qualities (flavour, colour, smell). The high pressure treatment combined with the protective atmosphere applied guarantees the food safety of the product.
