The Agricultural Cooperative Rachis Pierias ‘Agios Loukas’, one of the most vigorous and dynamic in Greece, is proud to present its innovative quality products at Fruit Attraction. Strategically located under the majestic Mount Olympus, its cooperative is famous for growing quality fruit. With around 200 dedicated members and an extensive orchard covering 3000 thousand square metres, they specialise in the production of the famous Rachi Olympus cherry, along with apricots, pears (Eden) and apples.

Commitment to excellence

The mission is to ensure high quality products and excellent customer service. To achieve this, its partners are committed to investing in modern equipment and practices that improve product quality. One of these significant investments is the Unitec Cherry Vision 3.0 sorting machine, which enables unparalleled levels of quality and accuracy in the sorting process. Since 2004, the Agricultural Cooperative Rachis Pierias ‘Agios Loukas’ has implemented an Integrated Management System, certified by TUV HELLAS. They adhere to rigorous quality systems both in the cultivation and in the processing - standardisation, preservation and marketing of our products.  Its cultivation practices comply with AGRO, GLOBAL G.A.P and GRASP standards for products and producers, while its selection unit complies with ISO 22000. The fruits of the ‘Agios Loukas’ Cooperative, marketed under the brand name ‘St Lucas Fruits’, are produced with a firm commitment to respect the producer, the consumer and the environment. Quality and sustainability ensure that their products not only meet market expectations, but exceed them.

- Cherries: their star product, Rachi Olympus cherries, are known for their exceptional flavour and quality.

- Apricots: they produce high quality, delicious and nutritious apricots.

- Pears (Eden): Their Eden pears are carefully cultivated to ensure that they meet the highest standards.

- Apples: They produce a variety of excellent quality apples.

To maintain and improve the quality of their products, they have invested in modern facilities equipped with high-capacity sorting machines, including Cherry Vision 3.0. These facilities allow meticulous sorting for optimum quality. They also use cold stores for optimal storage, hygienic processing areas and efficient packing stations.
