Liège Airport is the 5th largest cargo hub in Europe and the 21st largest cargo airport in the world. Daily cargo connections to Africa, America, Asia and the Middle East offer our cargo community an excellent choice of flights worldwide.

The flexibility of the airport, with operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

The LGG cargo community focuses on perishables, pharmaceuticals, express and e-commerce, oversized cargo and live animals. All specialised players are present at LGG Airport to add value to the entire supply chain. In addition, a new digital strategy enables faster, clearer and more transparent communication between all partners, including LGG's local authorities.

The airport's flexibility, with 24/7 operations, dedicated infrastructure and specialised procedures, as well as the perfect geographical location, allow cargo to reach its final destination faster.

The need for a coordinated approach, plus a new digital platform and the importance of #freightersfirst as part of our solution, are the driving factors behind the LGG Cargo Community Cluster initiative.

Rail freight connections to and from China with LGG and a European air and road network have made LGG a global multimodal freight hub with a rapidly growing freight forwarder footprint.

LGG's humanitarian and healthcare hub is growing from the solid foundations and long experience of LGG's rapid response freighters where help is needed most.

LGG has big plans for growth, building state of the art first line, second line : come and ask us about our master plan 2040 and come and work with an airport specialised in cargo.
