Jordan to become the Kingdom of Time at FITUR
Hakim Tamimi, Assistant Marketing Director for European Markets at Jordan Tourism Board, explains that Jordan will be presented at FITUR 2025 as a bold platform focused on the "Kingdom of Time". In addition to the attractions that visitors will be able to see at the country's trade fair stand, there will also be a whole host of other activities such as meetings and gatherings, prize draws and food tasting. And all this in a setting designed to enhance travellers' awareness of the destination.
With a bold platform through the "Kingdom of Time", Jordan will be presented at FITUR 2025 as an accessible, intriguing and multifaceted destination that appeals to the growing global tribe of intrepid travellers; explorers and independent, active and digitally empowered travellers seeking meaningful travel experiences and human connection.
Jordan will be presenting its new tourism image as a true reflection of a destination that, within a land that can be driven through in less than a day, fuses a dizzying collage of geology and nature; diversity, rich history, a tradition of spirituality and faith; and a contemporary Arab culture of openness and warm hospitality that welcomes all for leisure, business and healing.
A place where you can literally touch geological time and human history, where time can speed up in a bustling city centre, or pass in slow motion during a dive in the underwater coral forests of the Red Sea in Aqaba, or even come to a complete standstill in the Wadi Rum desert under a clear starry sky that reveals the Milky Way. Jordan's new tourism image also marks a shift in the role of tourism as a driver of sustainable local development.
