Aragon will be presenting a modern and diversified image in terms of territories and tourism products at FITUR 2025, explains Ignacio Rodríguez Ruiz, head of the tourism promotion service for the Government of Aragon in the following interview. Aragon will be showcasing a wide range of products and services, including ecotourism, wine tourism, astro-tourism, family tourism, slow-driving, cultural tourism, etc. It will also present itself as a community that combines tradition and heritage with progress and modernity. This will be the main theme of its stand at the fair, showing a transition from historic and traditional Aragon to modern and avant-garde Aragon, at the forefront of tourism and business innovation.
Aragon's presence at FITUR 2025 will include a wide range of activities and products. Can you explain them in a little more detail?
Aragon will be presenting a modern and diversified image in terms of territories and tourism products. It offers a wide range of activities, as well as a wide range of products: ecotourism, wine tourism, astro-tourism, family tourism, slow-driving, cultural tourism through the historical, artistic, natural, heritage, cultural and gastronomic wealth of a vast territory with a wide variety of tourism resources.
What is the theme of your stand at the trade fair?
Aragon is regarded as a community that combines tradition and heritage with progress and modernity, which will be the main theme of the stand, showing a transition from historical and traditional Aragon to modern and avant-garde Aragon, at the forefront of tourism and business innovation. Aragon is "heritage", but it’s also future and modernity. The Aragon stand will include both outdoor experiences; nature, mountain and active tourism, as well as technological and immersive experiences, linked to the mobility of the future and astro-tourism. In particular, Aragon will be presented as a destination that allows for sustainable experiences, which guarantee a contribution of travellers to local development and tourism services and to the conservation of biodiversity and rich heritage of the community.
It will be an open stand, with three lively themed spaces and lots of activities and presentations. A large screen will be streaming a live broadcast of the main attractions and authenticity of Aragon as a destination.
What will Aragon be conveying to trade fair visitors and what activities will be taking place on your stand?
Participation in FITUR will allow us to transmit to all visitors the image of Aragon as a destination that units heritage and modernity, combining them for tourism; it will also allow us to show the image of Aragon as a destination of unique experiences (Galactica, Mobility City, skiing in the Pyrenees, unique natural sites...); and a whole host of activities and presentations will take place that will give many destinations and tourism initiatives the opportunity to be more visible. Aragon has many tourist initiatives and experiences that are developed and renewed every year, as well as a very rich and varied gastronomy, which will also be presented at FITUR.
