Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain officially open the 44th edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair with Ecuador as Partner Country
FITUR 2024, taking place from 24 to 28 January at IFEMA MADRID, offers visitors a packed schedule of activities and events over its five days.
FITUR, the International Tourism Trade Fair organised by IFEMA MADRID, opened this morning in the presence of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain, who were received by the President of the Republic of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa; the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Ramay; and the President of the Executive Committee of IFEMA MADRID, José Vicente de los Mozos. The different authorities visited the halls of the trade fair centre to learn about the varied offer from companies, destinations and exhibitors. Among the spaces they were able to visit was the Ecuador stand, located in Hall 3, which this year is attending as the FITUR 2024 Partner Country.
FITUR begins a new edition of the trade fair with a record number of participants. A total of 9,000 companies, 152 countries and 806 exhibitors are participating in this international event from 24 to 28 January, where they will be sharing knowledge and experiences, creating business opportunities and discovering destinations around the world.
In addition, the fair continues in its hybrid formula, which complements the in-person participation of destinations and companies, with the LIVE Connect digital platform.
