Since its creation in 2021, FITUR Lingua has positioned itself as a key meeting point for professionals, educational institutions and companies interested in language tourism. The 2025 edition, under the slogan "Language as a tourism asset: challenges and trends", will offer a full agenda of activities, debates and networking opportunities designed to address the challenges and opportunities of the sector.
Discover FITUR Lingua 2025, the space specialising in language tourism designed in collaboration with FEDELE (Spanish Federation of Schools of Spanish as a Foreign Language), focusing on the potential of language as a tourist attraction, combining learning, culture and economic development.
Activity Agenda
FITUR Lingua 2025 will be held on Wednesday 22 October from 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and will be structured into four thematic blocks covering essential aspects of language tourism:
- Sector Fundamentals: Research and database to understand the dynamics and impact of language tourism.
- From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. with the participation of public universities and other entities dedicated to the study of language tourism.
- Beyond Spanish: International success stories of language tourism in other languages such as English, French or German.
- From 11:30 to 12:15 with the participation of other federations dedicated to language tourism in other countries and languages.
- Challenges of Language Tourism: How to transform current challenges into opportunities for growth and innovation.
- From 12:45 to 13:45 with the participation of international teachers' associations, TURESPAÑA and FEDELE.
- Towards an Institutional Strategy: The role of public policies and international collaboration in the development of the sector.
- From 13:45 to 14:30 with the participation of the Instituto Cervantes, ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, the Dirección General del Español en el Mundo and FECEI.
In addition, you will have access to a networking area, designed to facilitate meetings, presentations and agreements between the main players in language tourism.
