Dr. Daniela Moreno Alarcón is a senior researcher and consultant specialising in gender, tourism and sustainability. In 2017 she obtained her PhD from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid with the doctoral thesis "Tourism and Gender: an essential approach in a context of sustainable and responsible tourism development in Nicaragua". For 12 years she has strengthened her professional experience at the international level by integrating the gender perspective in tourism development in a wide range of countries in Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe. She is one of the pioneers in the field. Dr. Moreno has collaborated with various organisations, including UN Women, UNWTO, ILO Training Centre, ECLAC, UNDP, Global Women Institute at the George Washington University, World Bank and FIIAPP. She has lectured internationally and has a wide range of publications on gender dimensions in tourism..
Alicia Montalvo Santamaría is, since June 2022, Manager of Climate Action and Positive Biodiversity at the Development Bank of Latin America, CAF.
Her professional career has focused on the field of international financial cooperation and environmental economics, always in public institutions. In the international arena, she has held the following positions: Chief Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Office at the Embassy of Spain in Colombia; Executive Director for Austria, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Norway and Sweden at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB); General Director at ICEX, Spain Export and Investment, of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of Spain; Director General of Climate Change at the Ministry of the Environment, and Rural and Marine Affairs of Spain; Member of the Economic Policy Committee of the European Union; General Director of Trade Policy and Foreign Investment at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Spain.
Alicia holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Valencia, Spain. He also holds a Master in Public Administration (MPA2) from the KSG of Harvard University. She belongs to the High Level Public Service of Economists of the Kingdom of Spain
In the academic field, she has been a professor of Natural Resources Economics at the Carlos III University and at the Center for Commercial Studies (CECO) of Spain; she has also participated in numerous international conferences and presentations

She also has more than 10 years of professional experience in the tourism sector and as an entrepreneur. She is a member of the Advisory Board of the Innomnium Foundation. Her studies include a Master's degree in marketing (UAB), a postgraduate degree in tourism and hotel management (HTSI-URL), PDP programmes (Cornell School of Hospitality Management, USA) and a diploma in hotel management (Les Roches, Switzerland).

Adela Moreda is since 2005 a Tourism Lead Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the main source of multilateral financing for economic, social, and institutional development in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). She is directly involved in the different stages of the project cycle, from the strategic design to the implementation and evaluation of tourism public policies and investments supported by the Bank. With a degree in Law, she holds a Master of Science degree in Tourism Planning and Management and has completed an Executive Education Program on Infrastructure in a Market Economy at Harvard.

Peter is former Executive Vice President of Wonderful Copenhagen CVB and has a MSc. in international business, strategy, culture and languages from Copenhagen Business School.

Santiago Quiroga obtained in 1987 the title of Letrado Asesor de Empresa (Corporate Legal Advisor) at ICADE. He later obtained a degree in foreign trade and distribution, and completed several various programs related to the field. He has also completed an AMP (Advanced Management Program) at the Instituto de Empresa. In 1989 he obtained a scholarship from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid to join the Commercial Office of Spain in Los Angeles (USA). He joined IFEMA in 1990 as Commercial Representative, and through internal promotion, he held the position of Head of the Trade Fair Group. Subsequently, he took over IFEMA's International Expansion department with the goal of boosting IFEMA's positioning abroad, both through consultancy agreements or by holding trade shows in other countries such as Sicur, Genera and Matelec in Latin America or Matelec China.
