Feriarte, a one-of-a-kind event, is a unique opportunity for antique collectors and art and decoration fans
Spanish Golden Age will be the main theme of the upcoming edition of Feriarte at IFEMA MADRID. From 23 November to 1 December, Hall 8 will be packed with treasures from 70 antique dealers and art galleries.
Feriarte 2024 is always a major attraction where art lovers meet, and it is a one-of-a-kind enviable showcase for collectors, antique dealers, gallery owners, and directors of Spanish and foreign museums. It will be a marvellous opportunity to acquire unique masterpieces, exceptional, exclusive pieces whose quality and authenticity are verified by a committee of experts made up of more than 30 specialists in different disciplines.
Organised by IFEMA MADRID, the 47th edition of Spain's premier antiquity extravaganza will take place from 23 November to 1 December in Hall 8 of the Recinto Ferial. It will feature 70 antique dealers and art galleries. The chosen theme will be the Spanish Golden Age, a flourishing historical period for Spanish thought, art and literature.
For nine days, visitors enjoy looking at and acquiring thousands of objects that are more than 100 years old, as well as contemporary fine arts and the signature designs of some of the best-known names in the current scene. A showcase to delight all tastes: furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries, decorative objects and jewellery ranging from Art Deco to Art Nouveau, with Tribal, Pre-Columbian and Oriental art paintings, sculptures and archaeology.
Visitors will also find the Collector’s Gallery, #YourArt, an area within the Fair that will host works for under 5,000 euros. The initiative aims to encourage collecting and to make art available to people interested in acquiring pieces. As usual, there will be an open day with free entry to all visitors. This time it will be on Tuesday, 26 November.
With a history spanning almost 50 years, Feriarte is the only art and antiques fair in Spain and an unmissable attraction for collectors and fans to take advantage of all the business opportunities available to them.
