Organised by IFEMA MADRID, the event will be held from 9 to 11 April in line with the international trend to host fairs on business days.

The Salón de la Óptica, la Optometría y la Audiología (International Optics, Optometry and Audiology Exhibition) organised by IFEMA MADRID, has announced that the 2026 edition will be held from Thursday 9 to Saturday 11 April 2026. The 35th edition has been scheduled to take place on business days in keeping with the professional nature of the event, offering a more specialised ambience and facilitating attendance. Opening hours have also been changed from 10.00 am to 20.00 pm on all three days.

Ana Rodríguez, director of ExpoÓptica and ExpoAudio, says that “after a very successful last edition and an in-depth analysis with the Organising Committee, we have decided upon this change which we hope will be popular with exhibitors, visitors and experts alike. The decision is aligned with the international trend to hold fairs during business hours to optimise companies’ and professionals’ time, ensuring a more productive experience. Saturday has been included as an important commercial day for the sector”.

With a new format tailored to the realities of the sectors, ExpoÓptica and ExpoAudio 2026 will bring together leading optical fashion brands, manufacturers, distributors, training centres, and suppliers, including specialised software developers and equipment suppliers for hearing and optical centres. This broad representation will contribute to commercial dynamism.

ExpoÓptica and ExpoAudio 2024 was a successful edition that welcomed 130 participating companies and 8,350 professionals, reflecting the recovery of the sectors and laying the groundwork for continued growth in 2026. It showcased the latest innovations in the optical and hearing industries, while enhancing business opportunities and networking.
