Fundación Tecnología y Salud (the Technology and Health Foundation) and Fundación Dental Española (the Spanish Dental Foundation) sign a strategic collaboration agreement at Expodental
The Foundations have entered into an alliance to promote knowledge and raise awareness of the importance of health technology in oral health. They cemented their alliance this morning at Expodental 2024 on the Fenin stand
This morning, the Fundación Tecnología y Salud (the Technology and Health Foundation) and the Fundación Dental Española (the Spanish Dental Foundation) signed an agreement while at Expodental, Europe’s leading industry fair, which will be open until Saturday 16 at 18.00 in Halls 4, 6 and 8 on the Recinto Ferial at IFEMA MADRID.
To promote knowledge and raise awareness of the importance of health technology in oral health, the Technology and Health Foundation and the Spanish Dental Foundation (FDE) have signed a strategic collaboration agreement. The main objective of their alliance is to organise awareness-raising campaigns aimed at the general public on the importance of health technology in oral health care.
According to Pablo Crespo, general secretary of Fenin and secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Technology and Health Foundation, “this alliance represents a significant step forward in our shared commitment to promote oral health and well-being through technological innovation. It is important to support outreach campaigns aimed at the general public to raise awareness of the importance of oral health by providing accessible and understandable information about healthy habits, dental disease prevention and the advisability of regular visits to the dentist.”
According to Oscar Castro, president of the General Council of Dentists of Spain and president of the Spanish Dental Foundation, “This agreement between the Spanish Dental Foundation, the dentists’ foundation, and the Technology and Health Foundation (Fenin) shows our common commitment to the continuous improvement of Spanish society's health and quality of life. There is no question that healthcare technology is crucial to the evolution of dental care, and close collaboration between professionals and industry is essential to advance the promotion of oral health.”
In this regard, the agreement not only represents a collaboration between two foundations but also mutual support for the present and future projects of both organisations. These projects are based on dissemination, continuous training, and promotion of healthy habits among the population, which will benefit the whole of society.
Expodental, from 14 to 16 March 2024, is currently being held in Halls 4, 6 and 8 of the Recinto Ferial at IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with Fenin and sponsored by NACEX. For more information, click here.
