Keyter Technologies Accelerates Heat Pump Development in Europe
Keyter Technologies has entered into a strategic alliance with the Viessmann Group to accelerate heat pump development in Europe. The strategic partnership between the two companies will enhance the energy transition in the industrial and building sectors.
Keyter Technologies and the Viessmann Group have joined forces in a strategic alliance. Keyter Technologies is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of air conditioning, refrigeration, air handling (HVAC+R) and atmospheric drinking water generation solutions, with a strong track record in heat pump and chiller research and development. It employs around 600 and brought in more than 100 million euros in turnover last year.
According to Aurelio García Álvarez, President and CEO of Keyter Technologies, "the fight against climate change is the most pressing challenge of our time. With this partnership, two business groups with a family culture and strong technological capabilities are joining forces to form a business alliance focused on offering efficient and sustainable air conditioning solutions in addition to promoting the expansion of heat pumps."
The Keyter Technologies solutions portfolio encompasses the design, manufacture, marketing and service of heat pumps and chillers for the tertiary and industrial sectors among other air conditioning solutions under the Keyter brand, a wide range of commercial and industrial refrigeration solutions under the Intarcon brand and water generation systems under the Genaq brand.
Growth lever
Headquartered in Lucena (Spain), Keyter Technologies maintains marketing and service operations throughout Europe, South and North America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. The strategic alliance with Viessmann is a lever for the future growth of Keyter Technologies, which is currently immersed in industrial expansion projects involving the construction of new facilities in two phases, for a future total of 70,000 m2 of production area and 4,000 m2 of office space, currently under construction in Lucena, Cordoba.
