Dippanel Solves Space Optimisation in Cold Stores
Dippanel has patented the first hybrid refrigerated door designed for cold rooms without much space yet which require large entrances and good insulation. Thus, the new development combines the sliding door system with the pivot door system.
The idea arose from the need to optimise space in cold rooms that require large sliding doors, but have no space on the side to open the door. The solution is similar to that of a vertical lifting sash door, but with a quick manual opening and at a more affordable price. The sliding double leaf system folds to one side with hinges which makes it ideal for small spaces requiring high performance.
The materials used are of the highest quality, with a 0.6/0.6 mm. sheet of lacquered or stainless steel, a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam core with a reaction to fire classification of B-s1-d0, anodised aluminium frame with double thermal break and anti-corrosion treatment.
Some of the customisation options that the company offers for a highly functional and aesthetic door include finishes in different colours and materials and a Climalit visor, among others.
