C&R 2025 open for participation
From 18 to 20 November 2025, the International Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Exhibition will bring together the industry at the same time as Genera and Matelec.
C&R, the International Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Exhibition, organised by IFEMA MADRID from 18 to 20 November 2025, opens its application period for participation for all companies in the thermal installation industry.
This was announced following the constitution of the Organising Committee, a meeting at which the aims of the 21st edition was defined. Under the slogan ‘Innovation for decarbonisation’, the focus is placed on the strengthening of the professional attendance as it will be held for the first time at the same time as two trade fairs that share the same interests: Genera, International Energy and Environment Fair, and Matelec International Trade Fair for the Electrical and Electronics Industry.
In addition, C&R 2025 will aim to continue to grow in terms of supply and demand representation, as well as to boost its internationalisation, increase the attendance of opinion leaders and respond to changes in technology and the market by simplifying the division of the event into two main areas.
Hall 5 will therefore house the Refrigeration section, while Halls 7 and 9 will host the Air Conditioning section, bringing together companies from the following sectors: air conditioning (equipment for the generation of cold and heat); industrial and commercial refrigeration; piping and valves; tools and applications for installations; regulation, control and centralised technical management; domestic hot water; ventilation; insulation; pumping equipment; components.
The Organising Committee is working to define key terms and coordinate the different activities which will offer a framework for knowledge and the exchange of good practices to take place at the C&R Forum and in the air-conditioning and refrigeration workshops. As in previous editions, C&R will organise a new edition of the Innovation Gallery, which will bring together cutting-edge ideas the industry is working on. The actions launched in the last edition will also be continued, focusing on attracting young talent to the sector with activities aimed at this audience.

The recently formed C&R 2025 Organising Committee is headed by the president of AFEC (Air Conditioning Equipment Manufacturers Association), with vice-chairs from FEGECA (Association of Heat Generators & Emitters Manufacturers) and AEFYT (Association of Refrigeration and Related Technologies Companies).
