CONSTRUTEC and iRehabitae organize the Debate Table of Women Executives in the construction and rehabilitation sector.

The analysis of the current situation of the construction and renovation market was the main topic of this debate, attended by executives from BMI Iberia, Hispalyt, Legrand, Molins Construction Solutions, Saint-Gobain Solutions, Nedgia and BBVA.

CONSTRUTEC, as part of Semana Internacional de la Construcción, will be held from 5 to 8 November at IFEMA MADRID.

CONSTRUTEC, together with iRehabitae, have organised a round table discussion: Women Executives in the construction and renovation sector. The event provided an opportunity to analyse the current situation, to hear opinions on new regulations and the role of women, as well as the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.

This round table discussion was attended by Isabel Alonso, Marketing and Sustainability Director for BMI Iberia; Elena Santiago, Secretary General of Hispalyt; Anne Cheneviere, Mechanisms and Connected Home Product Manager at Legrand; Celia Pérez, Managing Director of Molins Construction Solutions; Esther Soriano, General Manager of Saint-Gobain Solutions; Isabel Rodríguez, Business Intelligence at Nedgia; Ingrid Fons, Sustainability and Collectives Specialist at BBVA in the Catalonia Territorial Directorate and María José Ruiz, Editor of iRehabitae.

The forum provided an opportunity to delve into the different key regulatory aspects currently in force, such as the new Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) and the application of the Next Generation Funds, as well as public-private financing for renovation and refurbishment. They also examined ways to attract female talent in the sector and discussed steps towards a change of reality in which women have a more important role in construction. In relation to this matter, they also reflected on the actions in Equality and Corporate Social Responsibility Plans of the main companies to promote the role of women in construction and renovation in order to improve the current situation.
