ARCOmadrid 2025 launches a new call for the design of the Guest Lounge
Architects, decorators, designers and other professionals have until 5 September to submit their proposals, which will be evaluated by a panel of experts. After this first phase, three studios will be invited to develop a project. The panel will meet in October and the winner will be announced in November.
ARCOmadrid, together with the Leading Brands of Spain Forum (FMRE) and AD magazine, is calling for architects, technical architects, decorators and other professionals to design the Guest Lounge for ARCOmadrid 2025.
Applications can be submitted until 5 September and will be analysed by an expert jury to select three finalists, who will receive a fee to develop their proposal. The panel will meet in October and the winner will be announced in November.
The central theme of the fair, which will revolve around the artistic scenes of the Amazon, will be the starting point and inspiration for the projects of the ARCOmadrid 2025 Guest Lounge. The winning project must combine the philosophy and theme of the fair with the function of being a space for relaxation, meeting and gastronomy at ARCOmadrid. It must also embody the values of the Leading Brands of Spain Forum (FMRE) through its Spanish member companies, which are examples of quality, innovation, sustainability and contemporaneity. The member firms of the Leading Brands of Spain Forum (FMRE) will donate products for the adaptation of this space.
The Guest Lounge at ARCOmadrid 2025 will be one of most outstanding spaces at the fair, offering an exceptional opportunity for visibility as a meeting point for professionals and all types of visitors, as well as lovers of art and design. This will be reinforced by the editorial support of AD Spain, the leading publication in the fields of design, art and architecture. Something that has already happened with Estudio Burr, Hanghar and Estudio Diir, Burgos & Garrido Arquitectos, Studio Animal, Estudio Gonzalo del Val and Toni Gelabert. Arquitecte in previous editions, helping to boost their professional careers and consolidate them as recognised names in the design world.
ARCOmadrid, organised by IFEMA MADRID, holds its 44th edition from 5 to 9 March 2025.
