Applications now open for General Programme
Galleries interested in participating in the General Programme of the 44th edition of ARCOmadrid may submit their proposals until September 19
ARCOmadrid 2025 continues to work with the aim of generating and promoting new opportunities for all the galleries; committed to bringing together the artistic community, top-tier collectors and international professionals, with the aim of continuing to be an unmissable event for contemporary art and its market.
With research and discovery as its main cornerstones, the 44th edition of ARCOmadrid will maintain the usual sections from previous years. The artistic contents of the General Programme will be made up of galleries selected by the Organising Committee composed of Livia Benavides -80m2 Livia Benavides-; Elba Benítez -Elba Benitez-; Eduardo Brandão -Vermelho-; Vera Cortês -Vera Cortês-; Henrique Faria -Henrique Faria-; Pedro Maisterra -Maisterravalbuena-; Iñigo Navarro -Leandro Navarro; Sten Nordenhake -Nordenahke-; Jérôme Poggi -Poggi-; Joana Roda Calvet -Bombon Projects-, and Rosa Santos -Rosa Santos-.
The curated sections will be added to this programme: Wametise: ideas for an Amazofuturism as the special curatorial focus of this edition, which will be curated by Denilson Baniwa and María Wills. Opening. New galleries, which will once again stand out for taking stock of the international young gallery scene, bringing together a selection of galleries by curators Cristina Anglada and Anissa Touati. And Profiles | Latin American Art, curated by José Esparza Chong Cuy, transforms into a solo artist exhibition that will continue to explore the rich diversity of forms, practices, and artistic sensibilities from Latin America.
Collecting and contemporary art will be the central themes of research and analysis at ARCOmadrid’s Forum and Professional Meetings.
