The firm Pedro Pitarch will be responsible for designing the common and rest areas of the fair. The architect sees ARCOmadrid as a “City of Galleries”, an ephemeral urban plan encapsulated inside Halls 7 and 9. The fair is presented as an interior city that clusters together the architectures of the protagonists, all the participating galleries, artists and collectors.
