A magical journey into the past through thousands of unique objects in Antik Almoneda

This spring, visitors to Madrid and everyone who loves art, collecting, decoration, fashion, and jewellery are in for a treat. Antik Almoneda will be back from 6 to 14 April in Hall 3 at IFEMA MADRID  

The event will showcase the thousands of objects proposed by 80 antique dealers, coins, and galleries, as well as pieces that evoke days gone by and have become more attractive than ever. It will be a fascinating cornucopia of ideas, works of art for all tastes and pockets, and special pieces of different styles, times, and origins.

Visitors will find objects from the forties, fifties, sixties and seventies created by international design greats, such as antique furniture, fine jewellery and fashion jewellery, home textiles, bags, lamps, clocks, carpets, archaeological relics and silver, in a magnificent mosaic of pieces of the past, brimming with history and charm. The exhibition also affords a prominent role to paintings and sculptures by established and current artists. In short, it is a fascinating stroll through the past, where visitors will see for themselves that unique, antique objects need not necessarily be expensive. At this edition, the event’s two hallmarks, affordable prices and quality, will come to the fore.

The emblematic Madrid fair, open to the public, will also dedicate a day exclusively to trade professionals on 4 April to allow decorators, interior designers, antiques, auctioneers, and architects to make their purchases.

As usual, there will be an open day on Tuesday, 9 April, with free entry for all visitors.

In addition, and in the wake of the success of the last edition, attendees will be able to enjoy "The Time Capsule", a delightful, experiential space featuring the eighties. A trip through time to discover or remember the eighties experience through its icons, music, food trucks and urban food.

Antik Almoneda 2024 is a fair full of charm and a not-to-be-missed springtime event in Madrid.
