From 22 to 30 March, the feria de antigüedades, galerías de arte y coleccionismo (Antiques, Art Galleries and Collectors fair) was visited by 6% more aficionados and saw direct sales of items rise by ten per cent.

ANTIK ALMONEDA, organised by IFEMA MADRID, concluded on Sunday, 30 March after receiving almost 16,500 visitors, 6% of whom were new aficionados. These very positive figures led to a 10% increase in sales during the nine-day event compared to 2024, not to mention the items distributed later, which do not enter into the Organisation's calculations.

Almost 80 coin and antique dealers, and gallerists participated in the 42nd edition. The event ran from Saturday, 22 March to Sunday, 30 March, and featured an exclusive day for professionals on Thursday, 20 March. A total of 452 accredited interior designers and decorators, architects and other sector art expert professionals attended. There was also an open day on Tuesday, 26 March.

This fair is open to the public and direct sales, and transformed Hall 6 of IFEMA MADRID into a complex jigsaw whose puzzle pieces were collectors’ items, works of art, fine and fashion jewellery, decorative and household items of all styles, eras, and for all tastes and budgets. From acclaimed oil paintings such as Salvador Dalí's canvas titled 'Still Life in Front of a Window' from 1920 to artefacts like typewriters, sewing machines, gramophones, 19th-century tableware, and 1920s jewellery, ANTIK ALMONEDA 2025 has established Madrid as the national epicentre for retro enthusiasts.

This massive turnout is further supported by the activities and workshops hosted in 'La Cápsula del Tiempo’ or ‘Time Capsule’, an immersive and experiential space that, under the name 'Vintage Town', transported visitors to a city of yesteryear.

Organised by IFEMA MADRID, ANTIK ALMONEDA 2025 took place from 22 to 30 March, successfully offering a captivating journey through thousands of unique items across a diverse array of styles, eras, and origins in furniture, jewellery and costume jewellery, clothing, bags, table linens, lamps, clocks, archaeology, rugs, and fine arts, catering to all tastes and budgets.
